About Switchback Routes

Switchback Routes is a free GPX file editor for the web, iPhone, and Android. Import a GPX file from Garmin Connect, Strava, Komoot, or another route site, or draw a new route on the map with snap-to-road or freehand, then fix the route, check the elevation profile and turn cues, and export GPX for your bike computer or watch: Garmin, Wahoo ELEMNT, Hammerhead Karoo, and any watch with navigation features.

The editing tools cover the jobs people usually need a GPX editor for: trim the start or end of a track, split one track into two, merge two tracks, move a section, add points, reverse direction, or turn a one-way route into an out-and-back or a loop.

Creating, editing, and exporting routes is free with no account. A Switchback Cloud subscription saves routes to your account and syncs them between the website and the apps.

Switchback Routes is available now on the web, the App Store, and Google Play.
